The City of Bremerton, in collaboration with HDR, partnered with ERW to enhance outdoor lighting in the Manette neighborhood.
The goal was to implement a lighting solution that seamlessly blends with the neighborhood’s historic character while ensuring a safe, inviting, and well-lit public space.
ERW worked closely with HBB Landscape Architecture to refine the project’s design, ensuring the lighting solution complemented the area’s charm and met modern performance and efficiency standards.
As part of the project, Jeremy from ERW collaborated with a local font expert to replicate the historic Manette street signs. Lumec by Genlyte recreated a close match, delivering modern replicas with a durable finish built to withstand the elements for years to come.
The newly installed light standards provide a warm, uniform illumination, enhancing visibility and safety across roadways, sidewalks, and public spaces while preserving the neighborhood’s unique ambiance.
